I have absolutely nothing to complain about with this stool! My dog is getting a little older so he's worried about hip arthritis and I just put about 6 inches of topper on my mattress so we had to put a leg up. And sorry, I don't care how those tiny dog stools look. This matched my bedroom decor well and its large frame was easier to maneuver than a small staircase. And let my turtles crawl into our bed in the middle of the night. LolDirections were straight forward and very easy to assemble. I had no damage to any parts, the extra screws were sent in the package and best of all the screws were long enough to hook the steps well so they didn't feel flimsy or wobbly at all. I especially like that the legs come with little scratch pads as we have wooden floors in our bedroom. My boys jump up the stairs and don't move under them. Indeed, this is a fabulous little stool made out of REAL wood, not chipboard.
