- I bought this for my little Chihuahua about a year ago. - I adjusted it to 9 3/4 inches (including closed clasp). and it suits him perfectly. The material is a very bright orange color and can be washed when it gets dirty. I washed it twice, air dried it, no problem. The dog bone clasp (so cute!) is very strong and I can't break it with all my might, so walking would be nice. the dog that pulls it. (Although I still use the straps to go outside). This collar is for you if you don't want your dog to pull hard and break while walking, but it is not a safety collar (e.g. for a dog that is playing loudly with other dogs, or a dog that is running) . through bushes and brambles without the constant presence of the owner). It's durable and perfect for what it is. - The slider is also very tight and will not loosen over time. - I'm very happy with it and overall it looks and feels great!
