These excellent cables. First they are soldered without wrapping them around banana plugs. I've been an electronics engineer for 30 years and I don't care what anyone says, solder connections are better than screw connections. Almost every electronic circuit ever created uses proven soldering technology. Secondly, the wire is of high quality, very flexible, has a large cross-section and is a copper composition. Finally, banana plugs are a newer style that I have no experience with, but I really like them. The plugs are adjustable, but are still tight. I have a feeling they will not loosen over time like traditional connectors can. I've always found audio cables to be too expensive and some suffer from "snake oil syndrome". I am not impressed by this and definitely happy with my purchase. My only regret is that I didn't get the 10 gauge wires. I thought they were too stiff and unwieldy but as mentioned this wire is very pliable and of the highest quality. They also have a label saying they have a five year warranty.
