For a long time I was choosing a laptop with good characteristics in a 15-16 "case, but strictly with a full-fledged numpad. I settled on the Legion 5 Pro and Legion 7 models. I bribed the matrix, aluminum case, design, good reviews in the reviews. I almost immediately abandoned the idea of taking Legion 7 , despite a more advanced graphics card cooling system (evaporative chamber instead of classic heat pipes) due to a software unresolved (at that time) backlight problem - Corsair iCue creates a noticeable battery drain. There are no complaints about the Legion 5 Pro, there were no problems. often complain about slow memory, however, apparently, this is a problem of the first batches - I have a good fast memory from Micron. The screen is excellent, very nice to look at. Performance is not bad, but it should be noted that the RTX3060 is not for 2560x1600, after all , even taking into account that the Legions have almost the most powerful TDP 3060s on the market. So for those who need performance first of all, I recommend looking at the Legion 5 model without the Pro prefix - inside it is actually the same, only it is simpler outwardly and with FHD resolution, which is more than enough for 15 ". With regards to screen parameters, 16:10 turned out to be convenient and in games I did not meet black bars around the edges, even in old ones. The sound is ok, but far from perfect. Comparing with the MacBook pro - heaven and earth, the Legion lags behind very decently. Deaf and quiet. But beyond comparison - acceptable. All in all, a very good value for money choice. The only thing is, do not be guided by the prices in the official Lenovo online store, there, for some unknown reason, they dance every few days for plus or minus 30 thousand. One day it can cost 120 thousand, the next 150 thousand. And do not count on pre-ordering there (without prepayment), they go nowhere without any reaction from the store.
