Firstly I have a 65lb Catahoula who has severe separation anxiety even in the car so a barrier was needed. Your kennel is too big for the trunk. This barrier leaves gaps along the windows that she sticks her head in but doesn't try to push them. It was very easy to install. The ratchet system allows for easy fixation of the headrest and attachments. I don't know if you can call it adjustable as small metal parts don't give much room to adjust, but it suits me. More determined dogs can overcome this barrier. Luckily mine only wants to come with us when we leave the house. Overall a big hurdle, I will buy more. Trainer's Note: I worked with her for two days using treats and toys, driving around the block and using praise. This helped her a lot to reconcile being in the trunk area and not touching the barrier on long drives.
