UPDATED REVIEW: I bought this on February 3rd, 2019 and reviewed it soon after. It is now June 15, 2019 and I am updating my review. I've had a Bunn coffee maker for years - the one with the glass teapot and heated stove top. I will compare this model with the glass pot model. Coffee doesn't come out "hot" or any of the descriptions commonly associated with coffee. If you add cream or milk to your coffee, it will be too cold to drink without reheating it in the microwave. The coffee does not stay hot in the pot. When you have drunk your first cup, the coffee in the pot is barely warm. Bunn's recommendation to "pre-warm" the carafe with hot water is wasteful and foolish. There's no marking on the inside or outside of the jug to tell you how much coffee you're making, making it difficult to brew exactly less coffee each time. . Ironically, I asked this question on the Revain website and was assured the carafe had indicators. Either I got the wrong information or my pot is a different version? It flows so slowly! Oh gods! It's no problem if you're pouring into a small cup, but if you're making coffee, emptying a full pot at that rate is awful. It spills if you try to do it with the lid open. It's just terrible design. I would donate this to the homeless but why kick someone while they are lying? Instead, this dirt goes in the trash and I'll replace it with a glass carafe and a hot plate.
