Destroyed two SD cards

I loved using this case but it destroyed the cards that were inside. When I opened it, I inserted the SD card and heard a crackling sound. I thought it was a faulty card so I tried a different one and it broke too. The top left corner of the map is shattered. I tried to insert a photo but it didn't work.
