These flashlights have a solid construction. The shell is nice and thick, as are the brackets. Instead of some wires coming out the back a few inches and ending in bare copper, they come out about 16 inches or so and end in a Deutsch connector like my hard lights. Then there's the corresponding German pigtail connector that goes to your wiring harness. Just one bulb isn't *that* bright (that's 18 watts ffs) but in my case I use 5 and it's plenty of light and it glows accurately what I need . The 6000K light temperature gives the illusion that you can see further, but if you drive a lot at night for long periods, this super white light is tiring. They're warmer, like lightbulbs, and I found I could ride a lot longer. with less eye fatigue. I wear amber lens caps when riding with others in dusty areas. When the dust is so thick that I can't see the man in front of me, he can still easily see the amber light behind him. There is a question, the dial is chrome or black - there is a black facet in the pictures. e, but the ones I have have a silver face. This was a bit disappointing as I think black would look cooler. (The body is all black, of course) How they hold up in the humidity remains to be seen, but at least they held up to my pressure washer.
