I'm an ordinary home master with little plumbing experience. One of our spas suffered from extremely poor performance. I've done general DIYs that I found online, none of which solved the problem. As a last try to fix our bathtub, I decided to give this part a try. I also bought a cartridge ejector tool hoping to make my life easier. Installation was fairly easy and I followed Moen's own removal and replacement video tutorial. By installing a replacement, the water started flowing normally again. I didn't use the clip that came with the kit because it didn't stay in place so I ended up using an old clip from my previous cartridge. Overall, I am satisfied with this value and happy to have a functioning bathroom again. I'll probably take the other apart so I can get a good idea of where it failed and see if I can "fix" it if this one fails and I can easily switch between the two until one is built fails. .Overall I appreciate the value of this part as it is almost half the price of the original part. I'm happy as long as it works and has decent durability. I will update this if the part fails within a short period of time. But for now I'm very happy with this purchase and will buy again if needed *knock on wood*
