I have many pairs of Merino wool socks because I have cold feet. I'm also very picky about the padding in the floor. These socks fit my needs very well. Socks are comfortable, do not roll into lumps during the day. They stay in place so I don't drag them all the time. There is good cushioning around the foot, which makes the shoe easier to put on. Depreciation is correct in my opinion. I've only had them for a short time so can't comment on how they last. But I think these socks are well made and will serve me well for the rest of the winter.
