I have had a dog in our guest bed for years! I got to this point not knowing what the thing was and decided to give it a try. Well it was good. And effective for the part of the bed he normally lies on. I have to play with his position on the bed because I noticed that he jumps to the bottom of the bed instead of up where the mat is. But it's still progress. Hopefully over time it won't be necessary when he realizes there's a possible shock. Also note; The shock is mild and only enough to surprise you, not hurt you.
