This is a good product, especially in the $20 price range. The other reviewer seemed really struggling to put it together. Are the tolerances tight? Yes. If this were not the case, the mounted bar would not be rigid, it would dangle from side to side. If you're a slightly older woman like my grandma you might have a hard time putting it all together, but my grandma has been dead for 10 years. You don't have to remove any of the black parts as another reviewer suggested - just add the parts along some pressure together. The widest part is the bottom of the pole, the thinnest is the top of the pole; I'll let you figure out where the other two parts go. You don't need instructions. I am not affiliated with them but just thought I would post this review to give the manufacturer/seller a little support as having only one review and 1 star can be brutal. I took the flyer for this article 1 star because I thought the other reviewer might just be incompetent. I'm glad to be right.
