Use this to share my old MacBook Pro 2012 screen on my big Samsung desktop monitor! Works great so far, I only have about 2 weeks, but everything is displayed correctly and clearly. I bought this to replace the "Basic" version of this cable which had failed and wasn't showing up on my Samsung monitor. but I've had it for a few years so maybe it was just about time *shrug*. I'll rate durability later.
