Used with a cheap set of RGB 5050 bulbs I'm sure you're up for it. They also reportedly work well with RGBW lighting. They integrated seamlessly and perfectly with my Phillips Hue Bridge controlled by Samsung Smartthings and connected via Alexa (Echo, Dot, Show). I have NEVER been able to get my lights to respond so quickly with my old Harmony remote setting that I used to "smart" them. I programmed the Harmony with a remote that came with a backlight (you know that cheap 24 button thing). then set up different scenes in Harmony, which can then be integrated with Smartthings and Alexa. But the response was significantly delayed, control was limited and they always lagged behind my other lights when using dynamic scenes. This device worked great. Although not much cheaper than a small run of Hue LED strips. If you want to use longer strips or multiple strips, this little gem can save you big bucks. I'll buy about a dozen more and I'm about to go insane.
