This case is well made and looks solid in an aluminum body. The case slides off and the NVME SSD is held in tension by a plastic clip. No screws or tools required. Also included is a thermal pad and a metal strip for heat transfer. I don't like having thermal pads permanently attached, but it still works well if you just place the pad and metal strip on top of the SSD and then close the lid tightly. I tested the data transfer and attached the pictures you can see. - More than 1000MB. / s (8000 Mbit/s) when using the USB 3.1 port and the included USB-C to USB-C cable - More than 450 Mbit/s (3600 Mbit/s) when using the USB 3.0 port and the included USB-A to USB-C cable. These speeds are within the practical limits of USB 3.0 and USB 3.1.
