I purchased this item mainly on a whim, although I did a little research into alternatives before purchasing. This bedside table is more expensive than some of the alternatives you can find, but for something designed to support a laptop you don't want to skimp on the cheap ones. This thing was very easy to put together, the instructions were so simple that even an idiot like me could figure it out. The available adjustments that you can make after assembly are very nice and easy to use. The processing quality of the table is very good, all metal parts are smooth to the touch, there are no sharp edges. The locking mechanism for all the adjustments seems very solid and I don't see them breaking. The table itself fits my large Acer gaming laptop easily and even leaves room to use the mouse on a flat surface and I'm not even talking about the side table, I'm talking about the part that holds the laptop. The side table is sturdy and although I occasionally use a mouse on it, I mainly use it to store small items and such for my laptop. The table tilt and height adjustment is amazing, I place the table close to my feet in bed and then tilt it towards me. The table is perfect for typing and gaming like DotA 2 and Dark Souls and while I haven't played FPS on it I'm sure they will work fine too. The extra tabs on the bottom and top of the table hold my laptop very well and I don't have to worry about my large laptop slipping off even when moving around the table. It is very easy to position it over my bed and lifting it off the bed (when the brakes are off) is very easy and no problem even rolling it on carpet. Whilst I bought this on a whim not knowing what to expect I am completely satisfied with the whole and would definitely recommend it to a friend or family looking for something similar.
