Review on 💽 Seagate Exos X16 16TB Enterprise Hard Drive, 7200 RPM, 512e/4Kn, SATA 6Gb/s, 256MB Cache, 3.5-Inch (ST16000NM001G) by Eric Sharp

This review is for the 8TB Exos. Based on the drive's serial number, this 8TB Exos isn't covered by Seagate's warranty, but the description says it has a 5-year warranty. False advertising. In addition, Revain receives a star for her support. Support kept telling me to contact the manufacturer, Seagate, even though I told them Seagate would not support this drive because it is an OEM version. Fast update. This review only applies to the drive purchased from that particular vendor, SabrePC. I received an email from them saying the warranty is valid through them. I wish it was stated in the description. I found an identical drive sold directly by Revain and this drive has a Seagate 5 year warranty. This drive is a bit more expensive ($209) but I have a Seagate warranty.
