I bought two of these to fit in the EV bays of my G Speed Shuttle xl. In theory this is a great idea, free up a few ports and everything you need to charge Alexa mini (or whatever else shoots Cfast cards) is in one case. After testing them in every possible way, I achieved an average transfer speed of 70-100 Mbps, while the same cards passing through USB3 codec readers reach an average speed of 350-380 Mbps. Even in a USB3 configuration, these readers cannot be overclocked to 100Mbps. Get rid of frustration and win Codex readers.
