Looking at the pictures I could imagine that it wobbles and bends slightly. I'm a light person and my other ladder sags a bit. It had no flexibility at all. It was solid and barely bounced up the stairs. It packs up well and can be placed almost anywhere in the garage. Strap to secure it in the closed position. It compresses by squeezing 2 levers (one on each side under the step). Opens and closes smoothly and quickly. The ladder weighed 29 pounds. I personally had to get a bigger one, thought 12.5ft would be enough, but it was a few feet lower, I couldn't get to the outer loft or look at the roof.
