I've always had a Nethir router. Recently my dgn3500 (modem part died) so I decided to buy a DGN2200v4 to keep and have as a backup until I buy a D6200. Okay everything was working fine until I was able to change the idle timeout from the default 5 to 0. I keep getting kicked out of the internet and have to reboot my router. I tried Netgear chat twice to see why I couldn't change it. I lost connection twice again while chatting with Netgear and had to restart. To be honest, Netgear tech support was no help. I'm thinking about buying a D6200. Very disappointed in Netgear! Update: After doing a Google search for the idle timeout, I found that this has been a known issue for years, in fact Netgear hasn't fixed it.
