Review on Mishimoto Black Expansion Tank for Subaru WRX/STI 2001-2007 - MMRT-WRX-01EBK by Jose Schweigert

I've already ordered two of these, one in plain aluminum and the other in black (thought it would be easier to see the leak). Both leaked in the same places along the bracket. If I can get a few photos I'll upload them. It looks like there is a gap behind the bracket (in my case) and where it's welded to the tank it's very hard to see. Can't tell for sure if it's coming from one side or the other, seeping in and dripping onto the block. It's a real bummer because otherwise this thing looks pretty good (considering it's part of a car). The welds look perfect, but they both fail in the same place. Unfortunately I can't return it anymore as I haven't had the car for a while and it only turned up after the return date had passed. Ironically, the standard plastic outlived this thing by almost 10 years. Sigh.
