Egg Crates on my review.

We needed something we could put the eggs in when we have too many (which is often) and give to friends and neighbors. It works well enough for that, but half the time you can't get one of the closer things to click into place and it just smashes them. We have 1 chicken that lays rather large eggs and it is difficult to fit them into the crates, although there is no problem with the others. Since we give ours away for free, it is not a big deal, but if we sold them I would not want to use these.

Pros

Carton closes securely. You could drop eggs from a short distance and they would not be damaged.

Cons

Too small for my chickens large eggs.
