This is a great tricycle for my son. At 21 months, he's still not fully pedaling, but he'll get used to it quickly. He loves to climb and ride on it. I also like retro 1940s/50s. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it was missing an axle, which isn't exactly an optional part. I bought it for $20 less than new because it said "minor cosmetic damage". It reportedly had a few scratches and a dent, which I didn't care because the kid was going to bump into it anyway. It was in perfect condition when it arrived, but it had no axle. At first I was really angry and wanted to return it, but instead I went to Lowes and bought a 3/8" dowel rod (I think it was 3/8") and used a hacksaw to cut it to the right length . I smeared it with WD-40, assembled the tricycle and it works great. I would recommend it for a toddler. Just be careful if you buy one that isn't closed. Make sure what parts, if any, are missing. But if it's missing an axle, just do what I did. It costs $20.
