Great temporary shelter for your fifth wheel

So far (about a month and a half) through strong wind, rain and some snow this coating has served us well. We have a 27-foot, medium-profile fifth wheel that actually measures 28 feet from nose to tail. We're glad we have a slightly larger cover. There seems to be plenty of airflow, and while the cover isn't advertised as "waterproof," it keeps most of the rain off the trailer roof, which was our main goal. Four weeks before we received cover, the roof of our van was damaged by heavy snowfall and then rain. A lid would have prevented rain-soaked snow from keeping water near the vents, where our leak originated. Our fix is $5,000, but at least the cover will help prevent further damage until it hits the store in two weeks. The cover is quite heavy and can be difficult to install. Determine which end is the front and follow the directions as you roll from end to end before twisting to the sides. Two people really help with this, especially throwing straps under the trailer to secure it. Since the straps are not weighted, I used a simple hand clamp as a weight: it worked great. I suspect the flaws noted in the reviews are due to being exposed to too much UV (from the sun) and not securely fastened which could result in it breaking in the wind. We're going to build a trailer shed in a few months. but until then it's going well.
