Review on 80 Ct Compostable Coffee Pods, SF Bay Coffee OneCUP French Roast & Dark Roast - K Cup Compatible for Keurig 2.0 (Packaging May Vary) by Micheal Wright

I've spent quite a bit of time going through the reviews and questions on this product detail page while contemplating the purchase and still not sure if the capsules would work in my car when they arrived. But the price was right and the coffee quality reviews were too good not to risk it. As a public service, I'm happy to post that these coffee pods have worked great in my Keurig 2.0 K450 model 20231. The coffee pods are packaged in compostable bags of 10 to keep the pods fresh while you browse the 80 pod box. Pods don't have plastic cups like most K-Cups. Instead, there is an open filter. In theory, this is better for the environment as less plastic is used. I read in a review that the downside to this design is that it is more likely to leave more coffee in the dispenser and affect the flavor of subsequent cups of tea or anything brewed in the machine. I get the idea, but I'm not sure I believe the theory. In any case, there was no such problem in this household. The coffee is delicious, the price is right and they work in my car. Actually creates a nice little espresso crema. We have a winner - it's hard to find a complaint. And it comes from a coffee purist who has resisted the switch to filter coffee machines for years. Actually, I can subscribe and save and make extra savings and make sure we don't run out.
