I have many Vibram models, most in 39 and a few 38. Unfortunately this model doesn't fit me. First order 39 as stated in the comments, the size is bigger and they were too loose and there was too much room in front of the toes. I just got my 38 so excited. And too bad they are too tight and my thumb hurts and there is no room in front of my toes. . love the style and they are comfortable. I usually wear size 7 regular shoes/heels, running shoes size 7.5/8. The price was great too. BUT if you wear socks then 39 should be fine. Unfortunately I'll be back.
