I use this stuff to make sure I never have leaks in my gas line fittings for the bus conversion (and never have until now, even with all the bumps while driving) but I use this one Stuff also as a solution to connection leaks for both of my mini split systems I have installed on my bus. I know they'll get hit hard while I'm driving. The blocks themselves hold up like they would in a typical home, but the connections can leak at the slightest vibration or movement. This fixed the 100% I tested by adding a leak detector to both of my devices. There are some very expensive gaskets you can buy for fittings on these things that fail about 50% of the time according to reviews and feedback from people I've had to remodel and who have used them, but this tape (when used correctly ) does the same but better. I'm not even going to install it now without this stuff. I've only used this on r410a systems that don't even ignite. If it can handle propane, butane and natural gas, I understand why it can handle R410a refrigerant with ease.
