This screen looks the same as the original. It had its own adhesive but I bought it a 3M double sided computer screen.loop.when the two adhesives touched it was a good secure seal.the protective glass packaging and peelable plastic sleeve on this screen was well designed and served its purpose in keeping this screen looking brand new like the original. I am very impressed that it was affordable with Apple I believe charging $600 to fix broken glass on this thing I bought this screen, a heat gun, 3M tape and a small computer tool kit for $40. My Macbook The Pro looks brand new and the screen looks great Very impressed and grateful Cheers!
