Sturdy but not too expensive
I've read that very cheap tripods can't hold a telescope or camera still on a windy day so I ordered this one. I want to use it on the beach to watch the ships coming and going through the shipping channel in Wilmington, NC. The beach is almost always windy. It seems to do the job.
