Review on 🚴 PEARL IZUMI X-alp Summit Cycling Shoe for Men by Brian Cooper

Although these are only my second pair of mountain bike shoes, I have to say they're pretty cute! I wasn't sure what to expect after the limited and mixed reviews. But after riding them a few times, not only do they look great, they work great. The size is a little big. I usually wear US size 7.5 and ordered US size 6.9 (after converting from EU size) and they fit perfectly. So about half a size larger than previous reviews, that's right. The sole is stiff and aggressive, which is ideal for cycling and hiking - mainly cycling. They're lightweight and look great. The bottom two straps are typical mountain bike shoe Velcro straps, while the top strap is a ratchet strap. A consistent, secure fit is quick and a hundred times easier than with any lace-up shoe. I just couldn't be happier with these shoes, especially since every Pearl iZumi model starts at $120 at my local bike shops.
