I had one like this from Stander a year ago when I had hip surgery but I gave it to a friend who was having surgery and told him he should pass it on to others who needed it don't think I'll need it again. I bought this for a replacement knee I just had and it's better than what I had previously. The finish is nicer, it has more storage accessories like my Dish remote that keeps falling in the chair unless I put it in the little holder on that desk! The table is sturdy and helps me a lot to move forward when standing up, but I actually find it more helpful to lean on it when I want to sit down. Definitely keeps me from sitting down and having a bout of knee pain. Sturdy and well built. I like that it doesn't look like a medical device standing around like a sore thumb, it just looks like a TV tray that fits inside.
