My six year old has the worst smelly feet I have ever encountered and I have been a nurse for over a decade. His feet are clean and we try to air them, but on school days his little hot feet are in shoes all day. He's warm and very active, and although he's not sweating, his feet smell terribly. I read somewhere that bamboo socks are good for smelly feet, so I gave them a try. My smelly little one has a twin so I knew I would need a couple pairs for both and I love that one bag has enough for a few days. From the very first time he used it, there was a HUGE improvement! He can come home and take off his shoes and I can't smell him until I see. He also has some issues with clothing textures and markings/stitching and doesn't mind it at all.
