The smallest in this set is ideal for small hands. The other two seem too big to me, especially the largest, which is the size I could use. The edges are a bit sharper than I thought they would be for kids knives although I'm sure it will help when cutting certain things and of course I won't let my child use them unsupervised so it should be fine. While I wish only one set of the smallest knives was offered, this seems like a waste of the other two knives.
