The system was very easy to install as the cameras were pre-connected to the NVR and in the app I used the scan function as per the manual and it worked straight away. Also connect the cameras to the app. The connection was stable from day one and I never missed anything. The TV menu had Chinese settings, but I was able to switch to English easily by double-clicking the settings icons. I was very surprised by the high quality of the footage - videos and pictures, day and night. Especially the night shots are way better than anything I've ever seen. The IR lights up my entire yard to the fence and beyond but no one has ever complained because it's just IR and no one can see it. There is no free cloud storage, but with the 2.5" hard drive I added (not included) I can still record everything now and review it from my phone too. BTW: the cameras are very light but have no microphone or sound, but I never felt like anything was missing. Never have I ever used a microphone or sound on a security camera. So I like a very lightweight design that makes it very easy to mount cameras pretty much anywhere AC power is available. The connection has always been fine and the signal from the cameras has never been lost, even behind 3 walls (one of which is concrete). I replaced the wired mouse that came with the kit with a USB remote mouse and it works very well and more convenient. So everything works as expected and there is really nothing to complain about. Very happy with it.
