Review on Samsung LC32R502FHNXZA Class CR50 32" Curved Monitor, 1920X1080, 60Hz, Flicker Free, HDMI, Full HD by Hakeem Turman

Difficult to read fonts, screen shadows, tedious stand assembly, tiny instructions

I've built and tuned many monitors over the years; this one was the worst. 1. The assembly instructions (for the stand) were just tiny sketches on cheap paper. Two parts were included that were not mentioned on the miniatures. I assume the black origami box is a dust cover for a slot they knew wasn't supposed to be there? 2. Normally the monitor just slides on the base. It had to crack with great force and grunt.3. The power adapter comes with the laptop. Real monitors only use the computer's power cord because the power source is inside the display.4. Despite the impressive size, I noticed two quarter-sized shadows on the screen as soon as I lifted the white screen; poor quality.5. I was able to handle pretty much all of the above, but what sent it back in the box was that despite changing fonts, resetting ClearType, and even trying different resolutions, the written word looked absolutely horrible and barely legible! I think Samsung just added its name to the Chinese brand for this product. Went back to my 28" flat Dell, all issues were resolved.
