Firstly I have a Freeman siding nailer which is great. However, this tool is not that impressive. First, Porter Cable's 18-gauge zinc-plated staples will not work in this tool. These are too wide. Harbor Freight (non-zinc plated) shackles will work, but you need the maximum pressure rating (100 psi) to drive a 1" shackle flush into bare jaws. In short, I expected a better product based on my experience with facade nailers.
