Review on 🔊 iLive Wireless Bluetooth Speaker System with CD Player, FM Radio - Black (iHB603B) by Stephanie Love

15 years ago we bought a similar product from another company and were amazed at the bass coming out of these little speakers. Unfortunately that "died" so we've been looking for a replacement. We bought this unit thinking it would sound great (which the reviews would suggest!). But when we played our first CD (no hip hop, just modern music) and set the EQ to rock, the amount of bass was radio alarm clock level. I'm exaggerating a bit when I say this, but I think you get the picture. Also, we figured that the Bluetooth feature would allow us to use an external Megaboom speaker to enhance the sound. Unfortunately, Bluetooth functionality is one-way, meaning you can play audio from your phone through this device, but you cannot "export" audio to external speakers. You are stuck with the speakers in your device. So we plan to bring it back and will continue to buy something else.
