Good device for the money. The radio has poor reception unless you live close to town, but I knew that before I bought it. Place it in a window and align the power cord to improve reception. Works great so far. The sound is okay for a player in this price range. It obviously doesn't compete with a $200 soundbar. He played our commercial and homemade CDs. The CD controls are a bit odd and look like they were designed by someone new to the industry. For example, you can't just insert a CD and press the play button.
