Review on Soldering Pro: Precision Welding Desoldering Tweezers for Professionals by Andrew Krishna

So when I bought this product I was very excited. The concept, functionality and price were great. I've used it several times and it worked great! The last time I used it, I pressed the power button and the device made a nice popping noise and a ton of smoke came out from everywhere. I was very shocked to say the least. When it cooled down I opened the side cover and saw that the wiring was completely burned (see photo). I could not believe such a fire hazard. Have owned this product for about 1-2 weeks. Unless you want to roll the dice and pray yours don't catch fire, I'd avoid it at all costs. Imagine it's hooked up to your bank, you walk to the other side of the garage/store and the thing goes up in smoke. No thank you. Just my 2 cents.
