This worked on my Ford Fusion after the tire shop overtightened the lugs when changing the tyre. The chrome cap of the first two is in the socket. I put a vise in the cap and put the impact wrench, socket and vise on the floor to remove the cap. Once or twice I just used a socket and an impact wrench to loosen the nut. I drove a flat head screwdriver into the caps and removed them with a vise. Then I used a smaller outlet. On the last; I drove a screwdriver into the cap and removed it before using the socket. I hope I never need it again, but I'm sure I've saved it just in case. My guess is that users whose outlet broke used breakers instead. impact wrench. Various power applications. An impact wrench is included in the instructions.
