Difficult to use but works

The best and worst thing about this band is how thin it is. This is perfect for my purpose when ordering - to tidy up an old album of old photos that are coming out. Even on some old surfaces with old dried glue this tape stuck well although it will take time to see if it lasts. One issue noted by others is the difficulty in removing the top paper. In the end I figured it out like this, if it can help you: cut as much as you want, stick it on the surface you're going to mount something on, and then gently but hard enough scrape with a pin or needle on the surface to go through the paper. Coating, but not so hard as to scratch the tape that is stuck. With a few gentle pulls, you can peel off the top paper and stick whatever you glue onto this glued surface. So far it's worked well and the photos I've inserted have been smooth and seamless. In a few years it will be known if the tape continues to work! I've also tried using this to stick paper masks onto the mask protector I just received and it worked, but I don't like the protector that much more in this review. I'm adding this review after finding a way to simplify this digression. With the tip of a razor blade I make a small cut in the band, then I take the tip of the blade on one half of the top where it was cut and lightly rip off one half of the top band, then the other half. Right up and pretty quick on both sides and you're good to go. The only problem is that if you stick the surface in separate parts, you have to avoid the sticky surface where you removed the cover.

Cons
