Strap locking mechanism works well; can fasten the watch quickly and hold the Fenix 5X securely (very important). The mechanism that locks/unlocks the strap on my wrist also works well. Overall, the band looks great, but unfortunately it scratches too easily. Even small scratches reveal the shiny silver metal underneath, which contrasts with the color of the black stripe. I have a few scratches from just a few weeks of use (and I'm in no way rude with the watch). You can be felt! Perhaps a thicker layer of black coating applied to the tape during production could make it more scratch resistant. Unfortunately, scratches affect the overall quality of the tape. So what's the use of being titanium if it scratches so easily? Because of this serious drawback, I don't really recommend this band, especially if you're worried about how it will look after a few weeks of wear.
