Cheap shelf that still holds up

I bought this shelf because I wanted to put a cheap shelf in my garage to keep some of my daughter's toys outside. I love the price of this shelf and I think it looks pretty good with the chrome finish. My concerns are the quality of some mounts and the very lack of assembly instructions. The instructions are just a diagram of the finished shelf on a sheet with part numbers next to where it goes. There are no written instructions at all. The assembly isn't too difficult, but I was a little confused at first how it all came together. Instructions would have made the process much easier and quicker. It also seems very strange to sell a shelf that the customer has to assemble and not give them instructions on how to assemble it. I'm also not sure how well the plastic brackets and shelf brackets will hold up. They seem to bend fairly easily and I'm concerned the shelf won't last very long before they break. I've had the shelf for a month and a half now and only keep children's toys on it (balls, kites, sidewalk chalk, etc.). So far it's worked well, but it's not a very strenuous test. I bought this product for $43.80 when it was on sale. I am satisfied with the purchase for the purpose I am using it for (storing light children's toys). Not sure I would want to store very heavy items on it and would probably look for another shelf if I needed a shelf for that purpose. Also, at the time of writing this review, the Regal costs over $60. I would probably consider other options at this price point.
