My hair is normally a light golden brown - I had a new hairdresser (covid = desperate) dye my gray roots and she did all the head is very dark brown, almost black. I bought this and used it exactly as directed and it has brought my hair color very close to what it was before the bad dye job, a light brown. I used a plastic bag, plastic shower cap, and hair dryer for about 35 minutes and felt it heat up and work. This process would cost $150 in store (if it were open).
