No Instructions! Smells awful. My hair turned red and I had to dye it twice. Update: After dyeing the hair, the color became lighter and more even. I like the results. I only wish it came with instructions, gloves and a cap for the price you pay. But overall happy.

I used it after using the Redbook Remover, the instructions for this remover recommended, so I did it. I have orange-red (more orange than red) medium length hair. I used 2 ounces at a time and it was more than enough (maybe next time I'll do 1.5 ounces at a time). After washing my hair, I towel dried it and left it damp but not wet if that makes sense. My hair is normally a light golden brown - I had a new hairdresser (covid = desperate) dye my gray roots and she did all the head is very dark brown, almost black. I bought this and used it exactly as directed and it has brought my hair color very close to what it was before the bad dye job, a light brown. Really great product. This will not change your natural hair color, only the color you changed your hair to. I've had black for many years and wanted something different. Redbook only took out the black, not my brown. Usually other products turn my hair orange but not this one. Follow the directions on the packaging and your paint will really come off.

I was hoping this would remove the semi permanent color from my daughter's blonde hair. I followed the instructions exactly and her hair didn't mind.
