As mentioned, the tools in this set are quite small - smaller than they should be. However, they are functional and I was able to repair a leather briefcase with minimal effort. I widened and recut about 100 holes with no problem, no doubt that's where I saved the cost of the kit. I think it's probably better as a repair kit than a new work kit, although I'm not sure the tools will hold up to the first punching or sewing.
