Hair didn't burn!
I bought it very hesitantly because there was a review about a girl who burned her hair. I reluctantly bought it because it was cute and I was in dire need of a new hair straightener and it was a very good decision! It didn't burn my hair and straightened my hair leaving it silky and smooth like a CHI straightener. I have no idea what it is. In another review, the girl was wrong, but I straightened my hair at 355 and used thermal protectant.
