Review on 🚦 LED 3rd Brake Light for 1997-2004 Ford F150 - High Mount Stop Lamp with Chrome Housing and Smoke Lens by Scoony Taker

"Plug and play" is a far cry from the term I would use to describe the installation process. I have a 97 F150 so I'm not sure if the wiring is the same on a 97-04 span but if yours is from the same year you will need to remove the headliner and/or bend it as there is a hazard that he will be dented. I wouldn't blame this company for the poor design chosen by Ford, but I think the "plug and play" principle is wrong. I'm leaning more towards a simple installation that takes time if you don't want to risk damaging the headliner. Don't get me wrong, I liked the product. Time will tell how it fares in the hot Texas sun, but so far so good.
