Do you miss the days of hefty keyboards with deep-set keys that make you feel like you're blasting away on a typewriter? I kind of do. And I certainly prefer such hefty keyboards over those tiny, frail laptop keyboards. This keyboard is the kind I learned to type on, and I enjoy using it. The multi-color backlighting is much less my speed, but I can turn that off. A couple keys to seem to stick--especially the backspace key (which is unfortunate for me because I didn't actually learn to type terribly well). The mouse is also a throwback--heavy-duty feel, fills my hand, and smooth action. I also appreciate that I did not have to add batteries to the mouse--it was immediately functional. As a set, I'm pretty pleased.
