Bought for my husband to watch Blippy in the truck. When I received it I was very happy with the size, color and picture quality. Since then and about 2 weeks ago he has probably watched the DVD 40 times. I only took the pay table out of the holder 4 times to change the DVD. Two weeks ago I turned it on and pressed the play button on the remote. I didn't change the disc or move the player. The player did not play the movie. I thought it might be a movie (and I knew it wasn't because we'd seen the movie multiple times and he hadn't taken it out of the player since the last time he saw it), and switched the movie. After watching 3 different movies, wiping the player's eye with a soft cloth, and turning the player off and on a few times, the player did NOT play the movie. The disc moves but does not play. This annoys me because this item was NOT cheap and we only had it 6 months! So if you want to pay $70 for something that will only last 6 months, do it. BUT I will never buy another brand of DVD player again! Much luck!
